RADIO and TV work:
In addition to having appeared on nearly all the local stations in Italy that propose BALLROOM and DANCE MUSIC, has also appeared on the national Sunday TV programme "DOMENICA IN " with two national personalities CORRADO and DANIELA ROSY. Has also played live at RAI (the State radio/TV network) TURIN.

Orchestra:
Massive enjoyment of direct, informal contact with audiences led him onto the stage with his accordion at just 16 years of age and, after playing in a variety of bands in innumerable dance halls, he founded the Roberto Scaglioni Orchestra in 1985.

Competitions and awards
Made the Final of the 1st "LISCIOFESTIVAL" at Palazzetto dello Sport of BOLOGNA, considered the "moral" winner by all the specialised press. 1st in "ORCHESTRISSIMA '95", a competition organised by VIDEO REGIONE (FO). The piece "ANDATE A LETTO" came 2nd in a competition organised by the GAZZETTA DI MODENA together with TELESTUDIO.
